Instructor / Class Overview

I am pleased to re-introduce our CPR / First Aid Instructor. His name is Robert Sebel, he is a Registered Nurse and serves as the Instructor / Trainer in CPR / First Aid and AED for Compliance Matters Consulting.

Robert has been a nurse working in some of the busiest Emergency Department Trauma Centers in Southern California and Nevada for 34 years. In addition, he has served as a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN), and a Paramedic, so he is familiar with all aspects of emergency care from pre-hospital to the ER setting. Robert has been teaching CPR and emergency skills courses for over 25 years. As a working professional in the EMS field, Robert brings a unique perspective to the classroom experience, as well as the latest in evidence-based research on CPR Standards. He has provided training to organizations as large as the State of California’s Department of Transportation, Cal-Trans, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and as small as various schools, religious groups, and Boy Scout troops.

In addition to high-quality CPR and AED education, our certification covers instruction in various emergency medical conditions.

We teach our CPR in a very comprehensive, and low-stress format designed to enhance retention and improve understanding. State-of-the-art training mannequins and AED trainers are provided so that students may have a true hands-on experience. Student workbooks are provided, and participants will be given a certification card on the day of the class.
